Hebrew Names Version - Restored

The HNV is ostensibly the 1901 American Standard Version with proper names restored to their correct Hebrew pronunciations. However I have encountered a few differences here and there, so whenever a difference is encountered, I have referred to the Sacred Scriptures because it is also based on the 1901 ASV. In some cases the Hebrew translation from the Hebrew dictionary is different, and in those cases the English dictionary is consulted as well, and taking into account the context of the passage, the literal translation and the passage of some terms into archaic usage, the most direct and current wording is used. In some cases I have referred to the Peshitta in the NT.

The major difference between this version and the HNV, is that the HNV, amazingly enough in its purpose to restore Hebrew names to their Hebrew pronunciation, has entirely left out the single most important name of all, which is Yahweh. I have corrected this error, and also restored the name of our Messiah Yahshua to its rightful place as well.

The reader should be reminded that this version of the text is not intended to carry any authority as to which specific term is used in any given place, with reference to Yahweh or Yahshua, or thier titles, since such a task is far beyond my meager resources.

The sole purpose of this text is to provide a readable version with known incorrect names removed and replaced with the most likely candidate, not to provide a reference to bring weight to any argument which depends on specificity of terms.

I have reduced overhead as much as possible in order to facilitate the reading and browsing experience. Each book opens in its own window, and very quickly due to the lack of flashy overhead. You can go immediately to any verse with no delay.

There is a table which references each parsha section by number and verse, the haftarah, and the brit chadasha, as well as a link to an A/V reading which I have recorded.
