I have a standing, open challenge to anyone who can prove, by scripture that he has more than one name.

I researched the term "names" (pl) and there was not one single reference to Yahweh, or Elohim, or his son Yahshua.

 
Isaiah 42:8 I am Yahweh. That is my name, and my glory will I not give to another. Niether my praise to graven images.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Now let me ask you a question, How important is it to you, that your name is in that book? Would you mind if it was misspelled or mis-pronounced? How about if we use someone elses name? Would that be OK with you?

What about respect? Is it so much to ask that we respect his name?

If he has said that he has only one name and that we should use that name only, is it too much to ask?

If there is any question about it, would using his revealed name in worship bring us closer to him or farther away?

If we contest using his name, in whose spirit are we doing so? What spirit would be opposed to using the name Yahweh? If you are not sure, try reading 2 Thess 2, and also this page right here.
